Icom America - Support - Marine Radio Microphone Modifications

Due to the age of some Icom marine radios, the original microphones for those models are no longer available. However, newer Icom marine microphones can be used with the older marine radio models if some modifications are performed first. Below is a list of PDF files which contain modification procedures.

You will need a free Adobe® Acrobat® Reader™ version 4 to view the PDF documents below. After installing the Adobe® Acrobat® Reader™, and it's Web plug-in, you can simply click on the links, and the PDF files will open inside the Web browser window. The document will come up blank at first, until the PDF file has fully downloaded. Or, you can click the link with a right mouse button and select "Save target as..." from the pop-up menu to permanently save the files to your computer's disk. You will still need the Adobe® Acrobat® Reader™ to open those saved files.
